From Thun, head to the Thun Bahnhof (Train Station) which is centrally located. Take bus number 21 towards 'Interlaken West'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Matten bei Interlaken, Wagnerenstrasse' stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes down Wagnerenstrasse to reach Heimwehfluh.

From Thun, take a train from Thun Bahnhof to Interlaken West. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Interlaken West, transfer to bus number 21 towards 'Matten bei Interlaken'. Get off at the 'Matten bei Interlaken, Wagnerenstrasse' stop. Walk about 5 minutes down Wagnerenstrasse to reach Heimwehfluh.
Walking
If you are near the center of Thun, you can start by walking to the Thun Bahnhof. From there, take a bus or train as described above. However, if you prefer to walk, it is about a 1.5-hour walk to Heimwehfluh if you choose to walk directly from Thun to Matten bei Interlaken. Follow the main road (Aarestrasse) towards Interlaken, then take the route to Wagnerenstrasse.
