Walking
If you are starting from the Thun train station, exit the station and head southwest towards the main road, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight along Bahnhofstrasse for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Bälliz street. Turn left onto Bälliz street. Continue walking for another 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Waisenhausplatz, which is located near the waterfront.

From Thun train station, take bus number 21 or 22 towards 'Thun, Zulg' or 'Thun, Schloss'. After approximately 5 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Thun, Bälliz'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 2 minutes along Bälliz street, and you will reach Waisenhausplatz, a lovely square near the river.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike at one of the rental stations near the Thun train station. Head southwest towards Bahnhofstrasse, then turn left onto Bälliz. Follow Bälliz street along the water for about 15 minutes until you reach Waisenhausplatz. There are bike racks available near the square.
