From Thun's main train station (Bahnhof Thun), take bus number 21 towards 'Waffenplatz'. The bus stop is located directly outside the main entrance of the train station. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate departure times. Once you arrive at the 'Waffenplatz' stop, the Panzermuseum Thun is a short walk from the bus stop, located at Waffenplatz, 3600 Thun. Follow the signs to the museum entrance.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Thun, start at the Thun Castle (Schloss Thun), which is a well-known landmark. Head southeast on Schlossberg, continue onto Marktgasse until you reach the main road, Aarestrasse. Turn left onto Aarestrasse and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Waffenplatz. Turn right onto Waffenplatz, and the Panzermuseum Thun will be ahead on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 kilometers and will take around 30 minutes.

Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops near Thun's train station. From the station, head towards Aarestrasse and cycle along the lakeside path, enjoying the scenic views. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Waffenplatz. Turn right and continue cycling until you see the Panzermuseum Thun on your left. The ride is about 2.5 kilometers and takes around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
