Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Frauenfeld via the A1 motorway. Take exit 68-Frauenfeld-West and follow signs directing you to the city center (Zentrum). Once in Frauenfeld, follow Bahnhofstrasse and then turn onto Rathausplatz. Frauenfeld Castle is located at Rathauspl. 2, 8500 Frauenfeld. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to walk a bit.
Public Transportation
To reach Frauenfeld Castle by public transportation, take a train to Frauenfeld Bahnhof (the main train station). From the train station, you can either walk (approximately 12 minutes) or take a local bus. If walking, exit the station, head north on Bahnhofstrasse, then turn right onto Rathausplatz. The castle will be on your left at Rathauspl. 2. If you prefer the bus, take bus number 4 or 5 from Frauenfeld Bahnhof to Rathausplatz, which is just a stop away. The bus fare is approximately CHF 2.50.
