The castle is located at 8560 Märstetten, and you can park nearby in designated parking areas. Note that parking may incur a small fee.

To reach Altenklingen Castle via public transportation, start by taking a train from your location in Thurgau to the nearest train station, which is Märstetten. Check the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) website or app for train schedules. Once you arrive at Märstetten station, exit the station and take bus number 4 towards Altenklingen. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the Altenklingen stop. From there, it's just a short walk to the castle. Make sure to purchase a bus ticket in advance, which may cost around CHF 2-5 depending on your journey.
