If you are driving to Frauenfeld Castle from anywhere in Thurgau, the castle is located at Rathauspl. 2, 8500 Frauenfeld. Use the A1 motorway and take the exit towards Frauenfeld. Follow the signs toward the city center, and once you reach Frauenfeld, look for parking near Rathausplatz. There are public parking options available, but be sure to check the signs for any parking fees, which can range from CHF 1.50 to CHF 3.00 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Frauenfeld Castle using public transportation, you can take a train to Frauenfeld. From Zurich or other nearby cities, trains frequently operate and take approximately 30-60 minutes. Once you arrive at Frauenfeld train station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take bus number 4 or 6 towards 'Rathausplatz'. The bus ride takes about 5 minutes.
