If you are driving, start from the center of Uri. Take the A2 motorway towards Gotthard. Exit at 'Amsteg' and follow the signs for Spiringen. Once you arrive in Spiringen, follow the road signs leading to Griesslisee. There should be a parking area near the trailhead. Please note that parking may incur a fee depending on the season.
Public Transportation
To reach Griesslisee using public transport, take a train from your location in Uri to the nearest major train station, such as Erstfeld or Altdorf. From there, catch a bus to Spiringen.
