Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start by heading toward the A2 highway. Follow the signs for Zürich and take the A4 exit toward Zürich-Zentrum. Once you approach the city, follow the signs for the city center. You can park at one of the public parking garages nearby, such as Parkhaus City or Bahnhofpark. From the parking garage, it's a short 10-15 minute walk to Lindenhof. Simply head east on Bahnhofstrasse, turn left onto Rämistrasse, and then take a right onto Lindenhof hill.

Public Transportation

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a train from Uri to Zürich Hauptbahnhof (Zürich HB), which is the main train station. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once at Zürich HB, exit the station and take tram line 4 or 15 towards 'Tiefenbrunnen' or 'Bucheggplatz' respectively. Get off at the 'Rathaus' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Lindenhof; simply walk up towards Lindenhof hill, which is about 5 minutes away.

Walking

If you are already within walking distance from the city center, you can reach Lindenhof easily on foot. Start from the Bahnhofstrasse, one of the main shopping streets, and head towards the university area. Follow the signs to Lindenhof, which is located on a hill overlooking the old town and the Limmat river. It's a lovely walk, taking approximately 15-20 minutes from the city center.
