Getting There

    If you are driving, head towards Zermatt. From the main road (A9), take the exit towards Visp and follow the signs to Zermatt. Note that Zermatt is a car-free village, so you will need to park your car in Täsch, which is about 5 km from Zermatt. Parking in Täsch costs approximately CHF 15 per day. From Täsch, take the shuttle train (Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn) to Zermatt, which takes about 12 minutes and costs around CHF 10. Once in Zermatt, you can walk to the Gornergrat Bahn (Gornergrat Railway) station, which is a short distance from the train station.

  • Public Transportation

    If you're traveling by public transportation, take a train to Zermatt from major Swiss cities like Geneva or Zurich. Once you arrive at Zermatt train station, follow the signs to the Gornergrat Bahn station. Purchase a ticket for the Gornergrat train, which costs approximately CHF 90 for a round trip.
