Car
If you're driving, take the A9 motorway towards Montreux. Exit at Montreux and follow the signs for Chillon Castle (Château de Chillon). The fort is located at Avenue de Chillon 22, 1820 Veytaux. There is parking available nearby, but keep in mind that there may be a parking fee, usually around CHF 5-10 for a few hours.
Train
For those using public transport, take a train from Lausanne to Montreux. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Montreux train station, exit the station and head towards the lake. It's a pleasant 20-minute walk along the waterfront to Fort de Chillon. Follow the signs to Château de Chillon. Alternatively, you can take a local bus (line 201) from Montreux station directly to the fort.
