Car
From Verbier, head northeast on Route de Verbier towards Route du Centre. Continue on Route du Centre until you reach Route de la Tzoumaz. Follow Route de la Tzoumaz to the main road (Route 113) and take a right. Drive on Route 113, following the signs for Hérémence. After approximately 25 minutes, you will arrive at the Barrage de la Grande-Dixence. There is parking available near the entrance to AlpinLine.
Public Transportation
From Verbier, walk to the Verbier bus stop (Poste) and catch the bus to Sion. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. In Sion, transfer to a bus headed to Hérémence (line 331). This leg of the trip takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hérémence, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes to the Barrage de la Grande-Dixence where AlpinLine is located. Make sure to check the local bus schedules as they may vary.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Verbier to Barrage de la Grande-Dixence. The journey will take around 30 minutes and costs approximately CHF 70-90. This option is more convenient if you have luggage or prefer a quicker journey.
