If you are driving from Verbier, head towards the main road (Route de Verbier) and follow the signs for Le Châble. Once you reach Le Châble, take the Route de Fionnay. Continue on this road for approximately 20 minutes until you reach Fionnay. In Fionnay, look for signs directing you to 'Cabane de Louvie'. There are parking areas available in Fionnay, but you may need to park and walk the final stretch as the cabin is in a more remote location.

From Verbier, take the PostBus line towards Le Châble. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Le Châble, transfer to another PostBus heading to Fionnay. The bus ride to Fionnay will take around 20 minutes. After arriving in Fionnay, you will need to walk to Cabane de Louvie, which is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour hike from the village. Ensure you wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water and snacks for the hike.
