Walking
If you are starting from the Vevey train station, exit the station and head towards the main street (Rue du Théâtre). Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Gare. Turn left onto Rue de la Gare and continue walking until you reach the waterfront along Lake Geneva. At the lake, you will see the beautiful promenade. Continue walking along the lakeside promenade (Quai Perdonnet) for approximately 15 minutes, enjoying the views. Look for Quai Maria-Belgia, where the monument is located. The Monument à Jan Palach is situated at Quai Maria-Belgia 18, right along the lake. It will be on your left side.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the Vevey train station, take bus number 201 or 202 towards 'Châtel-St-Denis' or 'Vevey-Four' respectively. Get off at the 'Quai Perdonnet' stop, which is just a few stops away. After exiting the bus, walk towards the lake and follow the promenade to your left. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Quai Maria-Belgia. The Monument à Jan Palach is located at Quai Maria-Belgia 18.
