Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting at the Vevey train station, exit the station and head towards the lakeside promenade (Quai Perdonnet). Turn left and walk along the promenade for about 10 minutes until you reach the charming lakeside area. Continue walking along the waterfront until you see the large park area, Parc de l'Indépendance. From the park, take the path leading uphill towards Rue du Château. As you walk up Rue du Château, the Vevey History Museum will be located on your left at Rue du Château 2, just a short walk from the park.

    From the Vevey train station, you can take bus number 1 (Direction: Les Pléiades) from the bus stop right outside the station. Get off at the 'Château' stop, which is the third stop on this route. Once you disembark, walk along Rue du Château for a brief 5-minute stroll until you reach the Vevey History Museum located at Rue du Château 2. The museum is on your right side.
