Walking
If you are starting from Vevey train station, exit the station and head south towards Rue de la Gare. Continue straight along Rue de la Gare until you reach Place de la Gare. From there, turn left onto Avenue de la Gare and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the intersection with Rue du Torrent, turn right. Continue walking for about 200 meters, and you will find Square de l’indépendance on your left at Rue du Torrent 27.

If you are starting from the lakeside promenade, walk north along the waterfront until you reach the main road (Avenue du Général-Guisan). Turn right onto Avenue du Général-Guisan and continue straight, passing by the Vevey Market Hall. Once you reach Place de la Gare, turn left onto Avenue de la Gare. Continue straight for about 500 meters, then turn right onto Rue du Torrent. Square de l’indépendance will be on your left after about 200 meters at Rue du Torrent 27.

If you are near the Vevey bus station, take bus number 21 or 22 towards Vevey station. Disembark at the Vevey train station. From there, follow the walking directions provided above to reach Square de l’indépendance.
