Car
If you're driving, start by taking the A8 highway towards Interlaken. From there, follow the signs to Lauterbrunnen. Once in Lauterbrunnen, park at one of the public parking areas available in the village. Note that parking fees apply, usually around CHF 5-10 per day. After parking, walk towards the Lauterbrunnen train station, which is about a 5-10 minute walk from the parking area.
Train
From Lauterbrunnen train station, take the Wengernalpbahn train towards Wengen. This scenic train ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive in Wengen, exit the train and follow the signs for the Staubbachfall Viewpoint. It’s a 15-20 minute walk from the train station. The walk is relatively easy and well-marked, taking you through beautiful alpine scenery.
Walking
Once in Wengen, make your way to the edge of the village where you will find paths leading towards the Staubbachfall Viewpoint. Follow the signs for 'Staubbachfall' or 'Lauterbrunnen' as you walk downhill. The viewpoint is located at 'Beim Staubbach, 3822 Lauterbrunnen', offering breathtaking views of the waterfall. The walk is approximately 1.5 km and should take around 30-40 minutes.
