Getting there

Walking

From the center of Wengen, head towards the train station. Once you reach the station, take the path that leads you to the Wangfuhren area. The Wengen Viewpoint is located at Wangfuhren, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the station. Follow the signs for 'Wengen Viewpoint' to ensure you're on the right track.

Cable Car

For a more scenic route, you can take the cable car from Wengen to the Männlichen. To do this, walk to the Wengen cable car station located near the center of town. Purchase a ticket for the round-trip journey (approximately CHF 20-30). The ride provides stunning views and takes about 10 minutes. After reaching Männlichen, you can hike down to the Wengen Viewpoint, which is about a 30-minute walk. Follow the marked trails that lead you back towards Wengen, looking for signs to the viewpoint.

Public Transportation

If you're coming from nearby towns, you can take a train to Lauterbrunnen and then transfer to the Wengen train. The train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen takes about 15 minutes.
