    From the center of Zermatt, head to the Zermatt train station. Exit the station and walk towards Bahnhofstrasse. This is the main street of Zermatt. Continue walking straight along Bahnhofstrasse until you reach the end of the street, where you will see the Matterhorn Museum. Turn left on to Gornergrat Bahn street and walk until you reach the Gornergrat train station. Board the Gornergrat train heading towards Gornergrat. The train will take you up the mountain. Get off at Gornergrat station and enjoy the views of the Matterhorn. From here, you will need to hike towards Leper's Tower, which is located in Aosta, Italy. Take the trail that leads you down to the valley and follow signs to Aosta.
