Walking
From the Zermatt train station, head south on Bahnhofstrasse, which is the main street that runs through the town. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the street. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. When you reach the end, turn left onto the road that leads towards the Matterhorn Museum. Continue straight for another 5 minutes, and you will arrive at a small square. Piazza Émile Chanoux is a popular gathering spot and should be easily recognizable.

Although Zermatt is a small town and primarily walkable, you can use the local electric bus service to get closer to Piazza Émile Chanoux. From the Zermatt train station, take the bus route that goes to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Get off at the stop called 'Bahnhof.' From there, it's a short 5-minute walk. Head down Bahnhofstrasse, turn left at the first intersection, and continue straight until you reach the square.
