Walking
From the center of Zermatt, head towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station. This is located on the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Follow the signs to the cable car station. Once there, purchase a ticket for the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Take the cable car up to the station, and once you arrive at the top, you will need to transfer to the next cable car that goes to Rote Nase Bergstation. Make sure to check the schedule for the cable cars as they may run less frequently in off-peak seasons.
