Getting There

  • Walking

    From Zermatt train station (Bahnhof Zermatt), head towards the main street, Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight along Bahnhofstraße for about 500 meters. You will pass various shops and restaurants. Continue until you reach the end of Bahnhofstraße where it intersects with Bahnhofplatz. The Zermatt Ski Resort is located at Bahnhofpl. 5, right next to the Gornergrat Railway station.

  • Cable Car

    If you prefer to ski directly, walk to the base of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise cable car station, located near the main square. Follow the signs that lead you from Bahnhofstraße to the cable car station. Once at the station, purchase your ticket and board the cable car. This will take you up to the ski resort area, where you can access various slopes and ski facilities.

  • Local Bus

    Although Zermatt is a car-free village, you can utilize the electric shuttle buses available. From the train station, look for the bus stop marked for local shuttle services. Board the bus that is heading towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. After a short ride, the bus will drop you off near the main entrance to the Zermatt Ski Resort.
