Getting There

    From Zurich HB (main train station), take a train heading towards Glarus. Trains to Glarus depart regularly, so check the schedule on the SBB mobile app or website. The journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Glarus station, exit the train and look for signs directing you to the bus station. Take bus line 534 towards 'Obersee' and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Obersee' stop, and you will find the lake just a short walk away.

    If you are near a tram stop in Zurich, take tram line 4 or 6 to the 'HB' (Hauptbahnhof) station. From there, follow the train instructions above. Alternatively, if you are already in Glarus, you can take the local bus line 534 directly to 'Obersee' from Glarus station. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes.
