Small Group One Day Tour in Iskandarkul Lake

The price was good. The tour guide some English as well despite being advertised as a Russian only tour. However, it falls short of 5 stars. The van used had extremely uncomfortable seats, and given how poor the roads are, I nearly fell out of my seat multiple times. Additionally, the van does not have seat belts, a huge safety hazard. As well, the tour guide didn’t state clear times where we needed to be back to the bus by, which led to a couple coming back 15 mins late, wasting everyone’s time. The lake itself and the waterfall was good but not spectacular.

Excellent guide and highly recommended. Challenging route and weather started out warm and try but wet and hail at top. Beautiful views but technically challenging and need to be fit to complete.

Private Full-Day Tour to Iskandarkul
Iskandarkul
Great trip to Iskandarkul. The drive on the Chanak Highway was breaktaking. We stopped along the way and took pictures. The lake was massive and waterfall was a sight to see. Very comfortable the entire trip! Highly recommend for anyone coming to Tajikistan!
