Walking
If you are starting from the Tajikistan National Museum, exit the museum and head south on Avenue Rudaki. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenue Ismoili Somoni. Turn right onto Avenue Ismoili Somoni and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the Independence Monument on your left, just before the main roundabout.

Starting from the main Dushanbe Bus Station (Avtovokzal), exit the station and head east along Avenue Rudaki. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers, passing by various shops and cafes. Once you reach the intersection at the roundabout, continue straight onto Avenue Ismoili Somoni. After about 300 meters, you'll find the Independence Monument on your right.
