Walking
If you are starting from the Tajikistan National Museum, exit the museum and head south on Avenue Rudaki. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Avenue Ismoili Somoni. Turn right onto Avenue Ismoili Somoni and walk for about 500 meters. You will see the Independence Monument on your left, just before the main roundabout.

Starting from the main Dushanbe Bus Station (Avtovokzal), exit the station and head east along Avenue Rudaki. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers, passing by various shops and cafes. Once you reach the intersection at the roundabout, continue straight onto Avenue Ismoili Somoni. After about 300 meters, you'll find the Independence Monument on your right.

If you are at the Dushanbe Flagpole, start walking south along Avenue Dushanbe. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Avenue Ismoili Somoni. Continue walking for approximately 400 meters. The Independence Monument will be visible on your left side as you approach the roundabout.

Public Transportation
From the Dushanbe Train Station, take a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards the city center. Disembark at the stop near the National Museum of Tajikistan. From there, walk south along Avenue Rudaki for about 1 kilometer, then turn right onto Avenue Ismoili Somoni. The Independence Monument will be on your left after about 500 meters.
