Walking
Start from the center of Istaravshan. Head south along the main road, which is known as Rudaki Street. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Khamza Street. Turn left onto Khamza Street and walk for approximately 500 meters. You will see a sign pointing towards Mug Tepe fort. From there, follow the signs, which will lead you through a slightly hilly area. It should take you about 30 minutes of walking from the center of Istaravshan to reach the fort.

From the center of Istaravshan, locate the nearest bus stop along Rudaki Street. Take a local bus heading towards the southern district of the city.
