Getting There

Walking
If you are in the center of Panjakent, start at the Panjakent Bazaar. Head east on Rudaki Street until you reach the intersection with Bukhara Street. Turn left onto Bukhara Street and continue straight. After about 1 km, you will reach the turnoff for Marguzor Lake, marked by a small sign. Follow the dirt road leading to the lake, which is approximately a 30-minute walk from this point.

From the Panjakent Bazaar, locate the minibus station nearby. Look for a minibus heading towards the 'Marguzor' or 'Lake' route (the drivers may not speak English, so showing the name written in Cyrillic can help). Once you find the correct minibus, board it and pay the fare, which is usually around 5-10 TJS. The journey will take about 45 minutes. Get off at the last stop, which is close to Marguzor Lake. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the lake itself.
