Walking
If you are starting from the Arusha Central Market, head north on Sokoine Road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nkurumah Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Mwai Kibaki Road. Turn left on Mwai Kibaki Road and walk for about 500 meters. The Arusha Declaration Monument will be on your right, marked by a large stone structure.
Bicycle
For those cycling from the Clock Tower area, head east on Boma Road and then turn left onto Sokoine Road. Continue straight for 800 meters until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Nkurumah Road and cycle for about 1 km. When you reach the intersection with Mwai Kibaki Road, turn left and continue for another 500 meters. The Arusha Declaration Monument will be on your right.

To get to the Arusha Declaration Monument via daladala, catch any daladala heading towards the Central Market. From the Central Market, disembark and walk north on Sokoine Road towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Nkurumah Road. Walk straight for approximately 1 km until you reach Mwai Kibaki Road. Turn left on Mwai Kibaki Road and walk about 500 meters. The monument will be on your right.
