Walking
If you are already in Masaki, the easiest way to reach Animal Africa Tz is by walking. Start from the Masaki waterfront area and head east towards the main road, which is Ocean Road. Walk along Ocean Road for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Toure Drive. Turn left onto Toure Drive and continue walking for another 5 minutes. Animal Africa Tz will be on your right, clearly marked and easy to spot.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle. Many local shops in Masaki offer bicycle rentals for about $5 a day. Once you have your bike, head towards Ocean Road as described in the walking directions. This route is flat and easily navigable. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes. Make sure to follow the same path by turning onto Toure Drive and look for Animal Africa Tz on your right.
Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a Boda Boda, a local motorcycle taxi. You can easily find Boda Boda drivers in Masaki. Simply negotiate the fare before the ride; it should cost around 5,000 TZS to reach Animal Africa Tz. Tell the driver to take you to Toure Drive, and they will drop you off right outside the park.
Walking with Public Transport
Alternatively, you can take a daladala (shared minibus) to reach closer to Animal Africa Tz. Board a daladala heading towards Posta and get off at the stop near the Masaki junction. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Animal Africa Tz. Just follow the same directions along Ocean Road and Toure Drive as mentioned earlier.
