Walking
Start your journey at the Dodoma Central Bus Station. Exit the station and head north on Nyerere Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Mathias Street. Turn right onto Mathias Street and walk for approximately 500 meters. Mlimwa Hill Palace will be on your left. Keep an eye out for the building, as it is a well-known landmark in the area.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, begin at Dodoma Central Bus Station and head north on Nyerere Road. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Mathias Street. Ride along Mathias Street for about 500 meters, and you will see Mlimwa Hill Palace on your left. This route is relatively flat and safe for cycling.
Public Transport (Boda Boda)
From any point in Dodoma, find a nearby boda boda (motorcycle taxi) stand. Tell the driver you want to go to Mlimwa Hill Palace on Mathias Street. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before you start your journey.
Public Transport (Daladala)
Locate a daladala (minibus) stop and board a daladala heading towards the city center. Inform the conductor you want to get off near Mathias Street. Once you reach the intersection of Nyerere Road and Mathias Street, disembark. Walk south on Mathias Street for about 500 meters until you reach Mlimwa Hill Palace, which will be on your left.
