Walking
Start your journey at the center of Iringa. Head towards the main bus station (Iringabasi) and exit the station. From there, take the road heading southeast on Nelson Mandela Road. Walk straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Samora Avenue. Turn left onto Samora Avenue and continue for about 2 km. You will pass a few local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Mtwivila. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach an area where the road becomes more rural. Continue following the signs until you reach the entrance of Zipline Iringa. The attraction is located in Mtwivila, and you will see signage indicating your arrival.
Public Transport (Bicycle Taxi)
If you’re looking for a quicker option, you can hire a bicycle taxi (also known as 'piki piki') from your location in Iringa. Inform the driver that you want to go to Zipline Iringa in Mtwivila. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure that the driver knows the area well, as it can be a bit tricky to navigate. You can ask to be dropped off at the entrance of the Zipline attraction, where you will see signage and potentially other tourists.
Walking (Alternative Route)
For another walking route, start from the Iringa Market. Exit the market and head west on the main road until you reach the junction with Kihesa Road. Turn right and continue for about 1 km. Look for signs that direct you to Mtwivila. After a short distance, the road will become more rural, and you will see the signs leading to Zipline Iringa. This route takes about 40 minutes but offers a more scenic view of the countryside.
