Continue driving up until you reach the parking lot for hikers. Here, you will leave your car and join your hiking group. To travel by public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Moshi. Look for a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Marangu. The fare is usually around $5 USD. The journey from Marangu to Stella Point will take several hours. It’s advisable to start early in the morning.
