    If you are traveling by car, start from a central location in the Lake Zone, such as Mwanza. Head northeast on the A1 road towards Nungwi. Continue on this road for approximately 80 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Nungwi Rd. Follow the signs towards Fukuchani. Once you arrive in Fukuchani, look for the coordinates 57CR+6QR on your GPS, which will lead you directly to the Fukuchani Ruins & Cave.

  • Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Mwanza to Nungwi. Buses leave regularly from the Mwanza bus terminal and the journey takes about 2-3 hours, costing approximately 10,000 TZS. Once you reach Nungwi, you can hire a local taxi or use a bodaboda (motorcycle taxi) to reach Fukuchani.
