Car Rental
If you are starting from Kalambo, head south on the main road towards the village of Kasesya. After about 25 kilometers, you will reach the T junction at Kasesya. Turn left at the junction and continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you see the signs for Mahale Mountains National Park. The road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way!

Public Transportation (Matatu)
From Kalambo, take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Kasesya. The fare is usually around 5,000 TZS per person. Once you arrive at Kasesya, you can hire a local taxi or guide to take you to the park entrance. Expect to pay approximately 20,000 TZS for the taxi ride, which should take around 15-20 minutes.
