Walking

Start from the Mbeya City Center, which is a central hub for tourists. Head towards the main street, Nyerere Road, and walk south. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading towards the Mashujaa Monuments. Follow the signs for Mashujaa Monuments. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the Mnara Wa Mwenge (Mashujaa Monument) on your right side. The monument is easily recognizable and is a popular historical landmark in the area.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mbeya City Center. Start at the City Center and ride towards Nyerere Road heading south. Keep straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit towards Mashujaa Monuments. Continue along this road for about 500 meters. Mnara Wa Mwenge will be on your right. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

Public Transport (Boda Boda)

For a quicker option, you can take a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) from the City Center. Negotiate the fare before starting your journey, typically around 1,000-3,000 TZS. Ask the rider to take you to Mashujaa Monuments. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. The Boda Boda will drop you off close to Mnara Wa Mwenge, which is a well-known landmark, making it easy for the driver to find.
