Walking
From Moshi town center, head towards the main bus terminal. Once you reach the terminal, look for a local dala-dala (shared minibus) heading towards the area of Machame. You will need to take the dala-dala until you reach the Machame junction. This should take approximately 30-40 minutes. At the Machame junction, get off and ask locals for directions to ‘Kwa Mambori Waterfalls’ or ‘Komakya.’ Most locals will be familiar with the area. From here, you will need to follow the dirt road leading towards the Komakya village. It's about a 30-minute walk along this path. You may encounter some rough terrain, so wear comfortable shoes. Look for signs or ask locals if you feel unsure. Keep walking until you see the entrance to the waterfalls.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Moshi. Start by heading towards the main road leading out of town towards Machame. Follow the same route as the dala-dala. It’s about a 12 km ride to the Machame junction. Once you reach the junction, continue on the main road until you see signs for the Kwa Mambori Waterfalls. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your speed. After reaching Komakya village, you will need to park your bicycle and walk the remaining distance to the waterfalls, which takes about 30 minutes.
