Here, you can purchase a ticket for the ferry that goes to Saanane National Park, which is located on an island. The ferry schedules may vary, so it’s advisable to check the times in advance. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you will be dropped off directly at the park entrance.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Mwanza. Start at the Mwanza city center and cycle towards the waterfront along Nyerere Road. Continue cycling until you reach the ferry terminal. Once there, secure your bicycle and purchase a ferry ticket. The ferry ride will take you to Saanane National Park. Remember to check the ferry schedule and plan your return trip accordingly.

You can take a 'boda boda' (motorcycle taxi) from anywhere in Mwanza to the ferry terminal. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to the ferry terminal for Saanane National Park. The ride should take no more than 10 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the terminal, buy your ferry ticket to the park. After a 30-minute ferry ride, you will reach the park entrance.
