Getting there

Car

From the Ruaha National Park entrance, head towards the town of Iringa on the A104 highway. Continue for approximately 80 km until you reach the junction near the town of Mikumi. Take a left turn onto the A7 road towards Morogoro. Drive for about 40 km, keeping an eye out for directional signs to Choma Waterfalls. Once you see the signs, turn off the main road onto a dirt path leading to the waterfalls. Be prepared for rough terrain and possible river crossings, depending on the season.

Public Transport

From Ruaha National Park, take a daladala (local minibus) to Iringa. Once in Iringa, catch another daladala heading to Mikumi. After reaching Mikumi, switch to a daladala towards Morogoro. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Choma Waterfalls junction on the A7 road. Once you get dropped off, you will need to walk about 5 km on a dirt road to reach the waterfalls. Be prepared for physical exertion as the walk may involve uneven paths.
