Walking
Start from the center of Singida town, at the Singida Regional Hospital. Head northwest on B1 Road towards the bus station. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the Singida Bus Terminal. From there, look for a local dala-dala (minibus) heading towards Ilongero. Ensure to communicate with the driver that you want to get off at Mariki Mbogamboga Point. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you reach Ilongero, the driver will drop you off near the market area. From there, ask locals for directions to Mariki Mbogamboga Point, which is about a 10-minute walk to the southeast from the market, following the path towards the greenery.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Singida town. Start from the town center and cycle northwest towards B1 Road. Follow the road for about 1 km until you reach the Singida Bus Terminal. From there, take the road leading to Ilongero. The route is about 5 km long and usually takes around 20 minutes. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Mariki Mbogamboga Point as you approach Ilongero. Once in Ilongero, follow the local paths to reach your destination, which is about 2 km away from the main road.
Motorbike Taxi
For a faster option, consider hiring a motorbike taxi (boda-boda) from anywhere in Singida. Make your way to a busy street where you can find motorbike taxis. Inform the driver that you want to go to Mariki Mbogamboga Point in Ilongero. The ride will take around 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will navigate the route for you, but you can also ask them to drop you off at the market in Ilongero, from where you can ask for further directions to the point.
