From anywhere in the Cumberland Plateau, begin by getting onto US-70 W. If you are near Crossville, head west on US-70 for about 30 miles. Merge onto I-40 W toward Nashville. After about 25 miles, take exit 172 for McCrory Ln toward Franklin. Turn left onto McCrory Ln, then right onto Columbia Ave (TN-6). Continue on Columbia Ave for approximately 5 miles. The Lotz House Museum will be on your left at 1111 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064. Parking is available on-site.

To reach the Lotz House Museum via public transportation, you will first need to take a bus to Nashville. From Crossville, you can take the Greyhound bus service to Nashville, which takes approximately 2 hours. Once in Nashville, use the local MTA bus service to take bus number 1 (Nashville to Franklin). Get off at the Columbia Ave stop in Franklin. From there, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to the museum at 1111 Columbia Ave. Be aware that bus fares may vary, so check the local transit authority for current rates.
