Walking
Start at the Franklin Historic Square. Head northeast on Main St toward 1st Ave N. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Columbia Ave. Turn left onto Columbia Ave and continue for about 0.8 miles. You'll see signs directing you to Nashville as you approach the I-65 overpass. Once you cross the overpass, stay on Columbia Ave which will lead you into Nashville.
Public Transit (Bus)
From downtown Franklin, walk to the Franklin Transit Authority Bus Stop located at the corner of 1st Avenue and Main Street. Board the Route 1 bus heading toward Nashville. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Nashville Public Square stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the main attractions in Nashville.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Franklin Historic Square. Head northeast on Main St and follow it to Columbia Ave. Continue on Columbia Ave for about 2 miles, where it becomes 8th Ave S as you enter Nashville. Follow 8th Ave S until you reach the Broadway area, where you can explore the attractions.
