Walking
From the center of Franklin, head south on Main Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 5th Avenue South. Turn left onto 5th Avenue South and continue walking for about 0.3 miles. You will come to a small park area on your right. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Franklin Road (US-31). Cross the street carefully and head left onto Franklin Road. After about 0.4 miles, you will see a sign for Boyd Mill Ruins on your right. Follow the path leading into the ruins area.

If you have access to a bike, you can start at the Franklin Bike Trailhead located at Harlinsdale Farm. Ride south on the bike path, which connects to the Franklin Greenway. Follow the Greenway for approximately 1 mile, and then merge onto the road that leads to Franklin Road (US-31). Once you reach Franklin Road, head south for about 0.4 miles, and you will see the entrance to Boyd Mill Ruins on your right.
