    Getting There

    Walking

    Start at the Gatlinburg Convention Center located at 234 Historic Nature Trail. Head east on Historic Nature Trail toward River Road. Turn left onto River Road and walk until you reach the intersection with US-441. Cross US-441 carefully and continue straight onto E Parkway. Follow E Parkway for about 1.5 miles. Mount Harrison is situated within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You will begin to see signs directing you toward the park entrance. Once you arrive at the National Park, look for trails leading to Mount Harrison, often marked with signage for the various hiking routes. Be sure to carry a map or use a mobile device to help navigate the trails.

    Biking

    Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Gatlinburg. Starting from the Gatlinburg Strip, head south on Parkway (US-441). Continue riding until you reach the entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Once you enter the park, you can follow designated biking trails that lead you toward Mount Harrison. Look for trail markers and make sure to stay on the designated paths for safety.

    Public Transport

    Although there is no direct public transport to Mount Harrison, you can take the Gatlinburg Trolley. Board the trolley at any trolley stop around Gatlinburg and take the route heading towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Get off at the closest stop to the park entrance. From there, you will need to walk or hike to reach Mount Harrison. Follow park signage to find the best trails leading to the mount.
