Walking
If you are starting from downtown Knoxville, head east on Main Street toward Clinch Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Worlds Fair Park Drive. Turn right onto Worlds Fair Park Drive. Fort Kid will be on your right at 1049 Worlds Fair Park Dr. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program available throughout downtown. Start from the Knoxville Bike Share station near Market Square and head west on Union Avenue, then turn right onto World's Fair Park Drive. Follow the bike lane along the road, and you'll reach Fort Kid in about 10 minutes. The distance is approximately 1 mile.
Public Transit
If you prefer public transportation, take the Knoxville Area Transit bus number 11 from the Knoxville Transit Center. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop near World's Fair Park. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Fort Kid. Just head straight on World's Fair Park Drive and you’ll see Fort Kid on your right.
