Public Bus
From downtown Knoxville, take the Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) bus route 31 towards Gatlinburg. Board the bus at the KAT Transit Center located at 301 Church Avenue. The bus will take you directly towards Gatlinburg. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the most current timing. Once you arrive in Gatlinburg, disembark at the stop closest to Airport Road, which is near the Gatlinburg Space Needle. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the attraction. Head northeast on Airport Road until you reach the entrance of the Gatlinburg Space Needle.

Shuttle Service
You can also use a shuttle service from Knoxville to Gatlinburg. Many hotels and tourist information centers offer shuttle services to popular destinations. Check with your hotel for availability and schedule. Once you are on the shuttle, inform the driver that your destination is the Gatlinburg Space Needle located at 115 Airport Rd. The shuttle will drop you off near the attraction, and from there, it’s a short walk to the entrance.
