Continue walking for about 0.5 miles. You will see the entrance to the Memphis Zoo on your left at 2000 Prentiss Pl. The walk should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your pace.

    You can also take the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) bus. If you are near the Cooper-Young area, catch the #34 bus heading towards the Zoo. The bus stop is located on Cooper Street near the intersection with Young Avenue. The fare is $1.00 for a single ride. Stay on the bus until it reaches the stop at the Memphis Zoo. The zoo is located directly across the street from the bus stop. The total journey may take around 20-30 minutes.
