The ride to Nashville takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Music City Central station in downtown Nashville, exit the bus and walk towards the intersection of 8th Avenue and Broadway. From there, catch the Route 34 bus towards the Vanderbilt University stop. This bus will take you directly to campus. The university is at 2301 Vanderbilt Place, and you'll be dropped off right near the entrance.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a local bike shop. Begin your ride south on N. Tennessee Blvd until you reach E. Main St. Turn right and continue until you hit the intersection with S. Church St. Turn left and follow this road until you reach the I-24 overpass. Look for the bike lane that leads towards Nashville. Upon crossing the bridge, follow the signs towards Vanderbilt University. The campus is about 30 minutes away by bike, and you will arrive at 2301 Vanderbilt Place.

    Walking from Murfreesboro to Nashville is quite a trek, about 34 miles, so this is not recommended unless you're prepared for a long hike! However, if you're feeling adventurous, you can start your journey by heading towards the Stones River Greenway. Take the greenway north and follow it until you reach the edge of Nashville. Continue on the greenway until you find a pedestrian path that leads into the city. Once in Nashville, navigate towards Vanderbilt University located at 2301 Vanderbilt Place. Expect a long day of walking, so bring plenty of water and snacks.
