Keep walking straight, and after about 1 mile, you will see Stones River National Cemetery on your left at 2552 Old Nashville Hwy. The entrance is well-marked, and you can enter the cemetery grounds to explore.

From the Murfreesboro Transit Center located at 222 W Main St, take the Route 1 bus towards the Old Fort Parkway. Stay on until you reach the stop at Old Nashville Highway.
