If you are starting from the Nashville Visitor Center located at 501 Broadway, walk east on Broadway for about 0.5 miles. You'll pass by numerous shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach 1st Avenue. Turn left on 1st Avenue and walk towards the river. The John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge will be visible ahead of you.

From the Nashville Visitor Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 5th Avenue and Broadway. Take the MTA bus number 18 towards 'East Nashville.'
