If you are in East Nashville, start your journey by heading west on Eastland Avenue toward Gallatin Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Gallatin Avenue. Turn left onto Gallatin Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue walking for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. After crossing the bridge over the Cumberland River, continue straight until you reach 1st Avenue. Fort Nashborough will be on your left at 170 1st Ave N.

From East Nashville, locate the nearest bus stop on Gallatin Avenue. You can take the WeGo Public Transit bus route 4 (Gallatin Pike) toward the downtown area. The fare for a one-way trip is $1.70 (exact change required). Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes, then get off at the stop near 1st Avenue.
