Walking
From The Gulch, start at the intersection of 11th Ave S and Broadway. Head south on 11th Ave S for about 0.5 miles, passing through the vibrant neighborhood with shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wedgewood Ave. Turn left onto Wedgewood Ave and walk for about 0.3 miles. As you approach Fort Negley Blvd, look for the entrance to Fort Negley on your right. The total walking distance is approximately 0.8 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes.

From The Gulch, walk to the nearest bus stop at 11th Ave S and Broadway. Catch the Metro Nashville bus #7 (Hillsboro) heading south. Ride the bus for approximately 10 minutes until you reach the stop at Fort Negley Blvd. From there, it’s a short walk to the entrance of Fort Negley, located at 1100 Fort Negley Blvd. The bus fare is $1.75 (exact change required) and you can pay with cash or a mobile app.
